Democrat pollster Pat Caddell reacted to yesterday's Obama press conference by asking: “Does this guy have any idea what he’s doing?”

It is now PAINFULLY obvious that the answer is an unequivocal "NO!"
Only in Washington, DC can the obvious be so willfully ignored by the Ivory Tower establishment and the Mainstream Media.
I called this BEFORE Obama's election.

I hate to say "I told you so" but I told you so.
Rush Limbaugh is correct.
Barack Hussein Obama is least qualified person in ANY room he walks in to.
We contend that for a nation to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.

The Republican Leadership is the problem, not the solution.
Something very interesting has been happening on the political landscape lately.Grass-roots Conservative activity has not only flourished to levels never seen before, it has had an interesting effect on those who should be embracing it.
The Republican Party Leadership has been, up until O'Donnell's win in Delaware, quietly poo-pooing the Tea Party movement at the same time they are using them for fund raising. They are now openly attacking the Tea Party and real Conservatives in favor of supporting RINOS. Cornyn has already stated the NRSC will NOT support O'Donnell in preparation for the Novemeber election. He has since changed his position and publicly stated NRSC support but not until the firestorm had raged,
Karl Rove, Sen. John Cornyn and the NRSC are back to their old ways of simply wanting someone with an "R" next to their name to be elected.Conservative Ideology and Bona-Fides be damned.
They have gone so far as to not even report ANY information about the O'Donnell candidacy on the NRSC website. Electing RINOS, is not something our own Party leadership should have a hand in.
Rove was the "Architect" of the stunning house-cleaning of Republicans in 2006. For some odd reason, Hannity, Fox News and the Republican Intelligentsia seem to believe that Rove actually has opinions and advice that we, the unwashed masses of REAL Conservatives, should follow. Karl Rove is not a friend to Conservatives and anyone who believes he is, should NOT to be trusted.
The Republican Leadership has completely misjudged the Tea Party movement. To paraphrase Lee Iacocca, our Republican "Leadership" can either lead, follow or get out of the way. REAL Conservatives are taking our Party back.

Apple iPad == Apple iFail, More arrogance from Cupertino, CA
I just looked at the Apple release information about the new iPad tablet.
This product will do well with the Apple evangelists but it fails on several levels right from the outset.
1) No Flash or Java support from Web Browsing.
Someone needs to let Steve Jobs know that this is 2010 and the web is rich with sites that use
these technologies. Evidently Apple doesn't think they are important enough to support.
2) No Multi-Tasking
This is the single most important reason to ignore the iPad.
The idea that Apple designed this product this way from the beginning shows how
out of touch with the real world they are.
3) No user-accessible battery.
Yet again Apple makes another device that treats those who purchase it like children.
There is ZERO legitimate reason not to provide the user the ability to swap out batteries
at any time.
4) Locked in to the App Store for 3rd Party Applications
Yet again, the arrogance of Apple rears its ugly head.
People who purchase a computer have the right to determine what software they install on it.
Apple continues to act as if they do not.
5) Runs a modified iPhone OS.
Can't run ANY OSX software so right off the bat, the product has limited appeal.
Sorry Steve, I'll take a pass on your over-priced and over-sized iPhone clone.

Obama is BAD for the US economy
The hall mark of his campaign is recent weeks is his penchant for touting "tax breaks". This is laughable on it's face. Obama has NEVER, in his entire political career, voted to cut ANY tax. He is admittedly committed to rolling back the very real tax reductions under President Bush.
This will result in tax increases for ANYONE who actually pays income tax.
The point is that the Obama tax increases WILL kill off a good number of businesses that have been hanging by a thread. It is simply poor policy to increase taxes at a time when most sole-proprietorships are struggling. It is even poorer policy to do it on a class-warfare basis.
This is exactly what Obama is going to do.
Increase their burden and you have a domino effect that kills these businesses, reduces receipts to the state and federal treasuries, and eliminates the jobs and velocity of capital that these businesses generate.
This is basic economics that Obama is oblivious to.
It doesn't faze him because he is a Socialist who doesn't have the slightest clue about what is required to actually operate a business.
The first thing to happen, for a failing business, will be paying vendors late. This will include the Tax Man as well.
Then they will shift vendors when put on credit hold or COD.
Next will be eliminating health benefits.
Next will be eliminating positions entirely.
You can not love jobs but hate and attack employers.
Unemployed workers can collect unemployment for a time.
Business owners whose businesses have failed can NOT collect any such benefit even though they are the ones who paid for it for everyone of their employees.
Obama may win the election but lose the war.
If Obama\Pelosi et al get their way, an Obama Presidency would be marked by the longest economic contraction in US History and would effectively kill the democrat party.
When the unemployed realize it was their own vote for Obama that caused their unemployment, it will NOT be a pretty picture for congressional democrats.
Obama will end up making Jimmy Carter look like a genius in comparison.

October 24, 2008 Financial Market Panic
There can be little doubt that the market volatility on Friday was due to a great fear of of an Obama Presidency.
It is clear that Obama and his supporters are ignorant of basic economic principles.
The most important of which is that there is no validity to the thought that you can tax your way to prosperity.
This is the cornerstone of Obama's economic policy.
The problem is that there is absolutely ZERO empirical data,
in the entirety of human history, to even postulate this ludicrous thought as a possible solution.
The democrats have tipped their hand and it is a deliberately socialist move. Their move, made public on Friday, to literally CONFISCATE current 401k accounts and essentially absorb them into an IOU system similar to what has been done with Social Security spells the end of this nation if it is allowed to happen. It will complete a sacking of the treasury from which there can be no recovery. It will create a debt that is insurmountable given the penchant for spending inherent in democrat ideology.
Wait until the MoveOn.org types get a wiff of how their freedoms will be curtailed under a possible Obama Presidency.
It will be the most staggering case of buyers remorse in US history.

Sirius-XM merger approved by DOJ - FINALLY
Well the US Department of Justice FINALLY approved the Sirius-XM merger.
It's about damned time!
The fact that it took longer for the DOJ to approve this merger
than it did for Exxon-Mobile is a disgrace. The delay had
everything to do with bashing Howard Stern as the bad-boy
of Radio and letting both companies know who is boss.
The idea that this merger was, in any way, anti-competitive
is simply foolish. Electronic media offers all kinds of delivery
systems for entertainment and news. Both Sirius and XM
have had to compete with all of them.
The National Association of Broadcasters even made the
specious claim that the merger would create a monopoly.
I guess the NAB hadn't heard of iPods or the Internet.
The fact that they have thrown so much money around
lobbying against the merger is telling.
Jim Cramer called them out on his TV show and rightly so.
He also called out the politicians in the pocket of the NAB.
The FCC will be hard pressed now to not approve this merger.
Let's get on with it.
As a Howard Stern fan and Sirius subscriber, I can't wait.

Spitzer should be Disbarred
The issue in the Spitzer scandal is not that he had extramarital sex.
I couldn't care less about his sex life.
He opened himself up to blackmail by depending on the secrecy of others to maintain his hypocrisy. He also made his name prosecuting others for the very same "activities" he liked to partake in. He knows full well that these type of high-dollar operations are controlled by organized crime.
He has shown himself to be a shallow and vindictive hypocrite with very poor judgment. He used his office as AG and as Governor to attempt to destroy the reputations of people who dared to disagree with him.
He has permanently damaged his relationship with his daughters not to mention the embarrassment he has brought upon his wife.
Some things his apologists should keep in mind;
1) Spitzer is, as a member of the New York Bar, an officer of the Court. He will likely be disbarred as a result of this scandal.
2) Spitzer was the Chief law enforcement official for the State of New York. He took an oath to enforce the law.
3) He violated Federal law by structuring wire transfer payments in order to hide payments for an illegal activity. He knowingly broke this Federal law, repeatedly. This will be the violation that gets him disbarred.
I say good riddance to bad rubbish.
